The Patron’s Lunch

On Sunday 12th June 2016, we transformed The Mall in St James’s Park for its largest ever street party, The Patron’s Lunch. This event celebrated Her Majesty The Queen’s 90th birthday and her patronage of over 600 charities and organisations.

We devised and delivered The Patrons’ Lunch with three key objectives in mind; to celebrate Her Majesty’s patronages, to host a lunch for 10000 people on The Mall and to raise money for the newly created Patron’s Fund.

With approvals and permissions in hand, we brought together a group of iconic British brands as Partners and Suppliers, a team of industry experts and endless amounts of Great British spirit.

With a challenging time frame and slightly soggy weather, the team put on an event as never seen before. Attended by the entire Royal Family, and viewed by 3 million on BBC1, countless others joined in the festivities across the UK and Commonwealth.

Furthermore, our multi-channel PR and Communications approach gave the charitable associations supported by The Queen a platform by which to raise awareness and funds and left a long-lasting legacy for all 600+ organisations.
