Whilst already employed by the London Evening Standard to deliver the Night Market, we were engaged by Westfield to produce the highlight of their London Food Month partnership, the Outdoor Cinema at the 12 day Night Market on Perks Field.
This 300 person cinema saw ticket holders relaxing on giant beanbags and deckchairs whilst watching an array of blockbuster hits and cult classics.
What may sound like a relatively straight forward activation plan, was made all the more challenging with the cinema being located on an in-use helicopter pad. This meant that with the exception of the big screen, all infrastructure had to be easily movable. It definitely gave the team a great workout – very much needed with all the food we’d been eating!!
Working closely with Westfield, the Night Market Ticketing team plus our Operations and Production teams, the cinema was well received by all in attendance, and an impressive focal point for the event as a whole.
