Whilst the SEL Operations Team liaised with BT engineers to install high speed internet, we also developed other ways to increase their brand visibility on the day. With volunteers absolutely vital to the smooth running of the event, we suggested to BT that they galvanise their workforce and use their well established employee volunteering programme to offer additional support. As a result, the ‘BT Celebration Makers’ were born.
Kitted out in their BT branded Patron’s Lunch uniforms, the 180 BT Celebration Makers (located between the capital’s main transport hubs and The Mall) directed guests and manned the Information Points. We also worked with them to create the BT Info Booklet which contained all the day’s information. These were even put to good use in the Royal Box!
